Description
Our breakfast blend, ground for a filter machine. Two thirds washed Brazil from Cerrado Mineiro for body and nuts, one third washed Guatemala for a lift of orange at the finish.
Roasted medium. The point of this blend is that it is the same cup every week: we adjust the recipe with each new crop so the taste stays where it was, rather than following whatever happens to be best in the warehouse.
Ground at a medium-coarse setting that suits a flat-basket drip machine and a cafetiere alike. Use 60 g per litre with water just off the boil. Ground coffee stales faster than beans, so we grind to order and pack the same day.
Ground, 500 g, foil bag with a one-way valve. Once it is open, keep it sealed and use it within three weeks.
