Dosing Funnel 58 mm

Description

A funnel is a small thing that removes a small mess, and after a week you stop noticing you own one. It sits on the rim of a 58 mm basket and catches what the grinder throws wide, so the coffee goes in rather than on to the bench.

• Fit: 58 mm baskets — a magnetic ring holds it on without gripping the rim
• Material: anodised aluminium, 45 g
• Wall: 18 mm high and angled inward, so a distribution tool still clears the sides
• Finish: sandblasted, so fingerprints don’t show under the bench light

It lifts off rather than twisting off, which matters when the portafilter is hot and you are holding it one-handed. The magnets are set into the ring, not glued to it — we dropped an earlier model because they let go after a few months of steam. Rinse it with the baskets; it does not belong in a dishwasher, where the anodising goes dull.
