Description

Brew and drink from the same vessel: coarse grounds and hot water go into the double-walled stainless body, and after four minutes the plunger pushes a fine mesh disc to the bottom. The lid screws on over it, so what you carry out of the door is a sealed cup rather than an open one.

The vacuum wall keeps the brew hot for about four hours and the outside cool enough to hold. Because the mesh sits at the base rather than in a basket, the coffee is not left steeping against the grounds all morning.

Care: rinse the mesh disc after every brew and unscrew it from the plunger once a week — coffee oils collect in the thread and turn rancid there. Hand wash only. The silicone seal lifts out for cleaning and can be replaced on its own.

Holds 350 ml to the fill line, which is one large mug. Stainless steel inside and out, with a matt exterior finish.
