Description
Two hundred flat-bottom basket filters, 200 mm across the top and 55 mm deep, for the wide baskets on most family drip machines. Oxygen bleached, 100 gsm, with a fluted wall that stands up on its own once it is seated.
A basket filter brews differently from a cone. The bed is shallower and wider, so the water passes through faster and the cup comes out lighter in body and cleaner in the finish. Grind a step finer than you would for a cone.
They also fit the flat-bottom brewers people use for competition-style filter at home. Sixty grams per litre, water just off the boil, and a slow bloom before the main pour.
Packed flat in a card sleeve that keeps them from creasing. Keep the sleeve closed, because a bent wall is a channel waiting to happen.
