Description
Tablets rather than powder, because a tablet is a dose and a scoop is a guess. One goes into the blind basket, you run the backflush cycle, and the oils that have built up behind the group valve come out with the water.
- Pack: 60 tablets at 2 g each — roughly a year of weekly cleaning
- Backflush: one tablet, then five rinse cycles with the blind basket empty
- Soaking: baskets, portafilters and shower screens, one tablet to 500 ml of hot water
- Composition: sodium percarbonate and sodium carbonate, no chlorine, no fragrance
Rinse thoroughly, and taste the first shot after a clean before you serve it. Do not use these in a machine with an aluminium boiler — the manufacturer will say the same, and it’s the one mistake we see often enough to print on the tub. The tub reseals, and the tablets keep dry in it for two years from the date stamped on the base.
