Description
A small timer that sits on the drip tray or clings to the side of the machine, counting the shot in tenths of a second. It starts on the first tap and stops on the second, so your hands stay on the portafilter and the cups.
The magnet on the back holds on a vertical panel and still lifts away with one finger. The last time stays on the display until the next shot begins, which is the part that matters when you are dialling in and writing numbers down.
Digits are 14 mm tall and read from a metre away across a busy bar. The case is moulded plastic in matte black, wiped down with a damp cloth at close. It runs on one coin cell, and a spare sits in the box.
