Bench Scale 3 kg

Description

A bench scale for the jobs a brewing scale is too small for: weighing a full hopper of beans, checking a bag before it goes out, portioning a batch into tins. It reads to 3 kg in 0.5 g steps and settles in about a second.

The platform is brushed stainless steel, 180 by 140 mm, and lifts off for washing. Underneath, four rubber feet keep it still on a wet counter, and a spirit bubble in the corner tells you when the bench is not as flat as it looks.

Tare works from a single button and holds through as many additions as you need. The backlight comes up with the display and dims after a minute of stillness rather than switching off mid-weigh.

A mains adaptor is included, and it will also run for weeks on three AA batteries if the socket by the bench is already spoken for.
