Espresso Dose Cup

Description

A small stainless cup for single dosing: weigh the beans in it, tip them into the grinder, and set it back on the scale for the next shot. The rim is rolled and the wall flares outward, so the beans leave in one movement rather than rattling around the bottom.

It takes about 40 g of whole bean to the rim and weighs 34 g empty, light enough that a scale reading in 0.1 g steps still has range left for the dose. The base is flat and wide, so it stands on a sloping drip tray.

Brushed outside, mirror inside. Static is the enemy of single dosing, and a polished wall gives the grounds less to cling to on the way out.

Dishwasher safe, though it dries faster on a cloth and will not water-spot if you take the minute.
