Description
Two independent boilers, 1.6 litres for brew and 1.0 litre for steam, so you can pull a shot and texture milk at the same time without waiting for a heat exchanger to recover. Brushed stainless case, 58 mm commercial group.
Both boilers are PID controlled to within half a degree, and the brew temperature is set from the front panel rather than by holding buttons in a sequence. Pre-infusion runs at low pressure for a programmable three to eight seconds.
From cold it is ready in about 18 minutes, and a timer can bring it up before you are awake. The steam wand carries a two-hole tip that textures 350 ml of milk in around 20 seconds.
Plumbed or tank fed, with a 2.8 litre reservoir. Backflush weekly with a blind basket and descale according to your water hardness: the boilers are stainless, but scale still costs you temperature stability.
