M30 Electric Burr Grinder

Description

A single-dose electric grinder with 58 mm flat steel burrs and a 250 W motor geared down to 1,350 rpm, which keeps the beans cool enough that the grounds do not clump on the way out. The housing is anodised aluminium in matt black.

Adjustment is stepless through a collar on the front. A full turn moves you from espresso to cafetiere, and a printed scale lets you note where you were before you changed it. Retention sits under 0.3 g with the bellows fitted.

Load the beans, press the paddle, and the motor stops on its own once the chamber clears. Eighteen grams at an espresso setting takes about 12 seconds. The chute is angled into a 58 mm dosing cup, which is included in the box.

The burr carrier lifts out by hand for cleaning. Run a brush around the chamber weekly, and take the burrs out monthly if you grind oily dark roasts.
