Description
Our shop grinder in a domestic shell: 64 mm flat burrs, a 400 W motor, and a brushed stainless body heavy enough at 5.8 kg that it does not walk across the worktop. There is no plastic anywhere in the grind path.
The worm-gear adjustment gives roughly 400 usable positions across the espresso range alone, so half a second of shot time is something you can actually dial in. The gear holds its setting under vibration, which a stepped collar does not.
It clears 18 g in about 8 seconds and stays under 60 degrees at the burr, which matters if you are grinding back to back through a busy morning. A timed mode repeats a dose to within 0.2 g.
The top burr carrier unscrews for cleaning without disturbing the adjustment. We suggest replacing flat burrs at around 600 kg of throughput.
