Description
Four hundred millilitres is the size most people reach for second, once they have poured a few flat whites and found the litre jug too heavy to steer. It holds milk for two 6 oz drinks with the headroom the steam wand needs.
- Volume: 400 ml to the rim — about 220 ml of milk before it stretches
- Body: 0.8 mm stainless steel, seamless, brushed outside and polished inside
- Spout: narrow and slightly hooked, so it cuts off instead of dribbling down the side
- Base: wide and flat, which keeps it standing on a wet drip tray
There is no measuring line stamped inside, which we prefer: you learn the level by eye and the wall stays smooth to wash. It is dishwasher safe, though a rinse straight after steaming stops milk baking on to the inside. The handle stays cool enough to hold through a full pour, and the seam-free bowl means nothing collects where you can’t see it.
