Description
Forty 2 g tablets for backflushing an espresso machine and cleaning a brewer group. They are based on sodium percarbonate, so the working agent breaks down into soda ash, water and oxygen and rinses away without leaving a residue.
One tablet in a blind basket, backflush in five bursts of ten seconds, then repeat with an empty basket to rinse. Coffee oils go rancid in a group long before you can taste them in a shot, which is why doing this weekly matters more than doing it thoroughly.
They also clean a dripper, a server or a cafetiere: one tablet in a litre of hot water, 15 minutes, then rinse. The brown film on a glass beaker comes off without scrubbing.
Unscented and free of phosphates. Store the blister strip dry, because a tablet that has taken up moisture will fizz in the packet and do nothing in the group.
