Description
A brush with the head set at an angle to the handle, so the bristles reach the underside of the group and the lip of the basket without your knuckles meeting hot metal. Beech handle, 180 mm long, with a hanging hole at the end.
The bristles are nylon, 25 mm long and stiff enough to move packed grounds off a shower screen while staying soft on the seal. They take steam and hot water without splaying, which is where a natural bristle gives up after a season.
The head is glued and stapled rather than only glued, so it will not shed into the drip tray. Rinse it out at close and stand it bristles up to dry; left lying wet, any brush ends up smelling of stale coffee.
