Puck Screen 58 mm

Description

A pair of etched stainless screens that sit on top of the coffee before the portafilter goes in. Water spreads across the mesh instead of drilling into one spot, and the shower screen stays clear of grounds between cleans.

Each screen is 58.5 mm across and 1.7 mm thick, with holes of 150 microns. That thickness lets it sit flush without lifting the bed into the group, which is what makes a thicker screen fight the lock-in on a full basket.

They come out with the puck and rinse clean under the tap. Once a week they can go in with your backflush detergent for a soak. Two to a pack, so one is always in the drawer while the other dries.
